In his graphic Works Henk Tichelaar has a preference for the etching and drypoint technique, although he usually manually adds colour accents  to the  black and white  version af a print.This way, every print becomes unique.

His handwriting is tipical. He is not the man of the big gestures. He draws his subjects in single lines.
His own living environment is the source of inspiration. Observations and impressions of commonplace, all ordinary and everyday things are the starting point for his imagination.
As a result poetic and intimate prints.
